Responsibilities:
Welcoming and greeting guests; answering phones and checking voicemail; ensuring a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arranged dining tables

At least 1 year in a Host/Hostess position in a upscale dining setting preferred
Knowledge of reservation systems preferred

Back Server
Responsibilities:
Clear and reset tables in a timely and efficient manner; ensure quality of all items being set on the table
Ability to take dessert orders from guests and attend to each guest’s needs
Maintain stocks of all supplies and necessary items for service, reporting to management when items are low
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times
Communicate information to a Manager in a prompt fashion which will allow the team members to respond as necessary and work together as a team
Participate in Pre-Shift meetings, asking questions to assist in your understanding of the cuisine and restaurant
Display hospitality in welcoming all guests; ensure they are given responsive, professional and gracious service at all times
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager
Follow correct cash-handling and reporting procedures

Responsibilities:
Execute menu items for assigned station from start to finish; this includes but is not limited to preparation of ingredients, butchery of proteins, cooking and plating of menu items
Able to demonstrate classic cooking techniques
Able to prepare ingredients and setup station mise en place for service
Able to keep your station clean and organized before, during and after service
Work closely and collaboratively with the kitchen team
Must be able to lift & a carry at least 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time

Skills & Requirements:
More than 1 year cooking experience in a fine-dining kitchen is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:
Responsible for washing dishes and maintaining the cleanliness of the service pieces and kitchen/glassware, either by hand or using dishwashers
Setting up the dishroom in a tidy fashion ensuring that health code specifications are met
Handling service pieces, tools, and all other property with respect and care
Correctly placing and storing clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
Stocking serving stations, cupboards, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils
Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

Demonstrate strong food and wine knowledge and the ability to make recommendations according to guest preferences

Be able to effectively communicate, give and take constructive criticism, and productively lead in a small team dynamic

Maintains the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service
